This restaurant and its owners are so lovely and adorable, dining here has made our Greece trip way more memorable! We absolutely love how down to earth and friendly the owners are! ❤️ I liked that we choose the fresh fish we want, and every food tasted delicious 😊

Fishmonger on one side and restaurant/bar in the other side. You can choose the fresh fish first and they will grill them for you afterwards. Greek music. Simple and small but really nice place, tasty food. Highly recommended

We had the best food experience here out of whole of our trip. Seemingly random place we chose from Google search but the best fried baby squid and whitebait, bar none. Grilled fish was fresh and flavoursome.

Very tasty and fresh fish/see food. Only locals, one gentleman can speak English and will translate everything for you. Very unique experience.

We just found out about this wonderful place and we love it! The best fresh seafood cooked just the way we like it and steamed greens with zucchini on the side. Oh wow!

Excellent place for fish - as fresh as it can be! Super delicious! Hospitable and friendly owners! Must visit in Sparta. You chose the fish to be cooked on site.

Locale con solo gente del posto. Un ragazzo gentilissimo sa un po' di inglese e aiuta per ordinare. Prima si va al banco del pesce fresco per sceglierlo e loro cucinano sul momento. Molto buona anche l'insalata greca. Esperienza ottima!

Local with only locals. A very kind guy knows a little English and helps you to order. First you go to the fresh fish counter to choose it and they cook it on the spot. The Greek salad is also very good. Great experience!

Venimos de visitar Mystra y decidimos parar a comer en Esparta. Vimos buenas valoraciones de este restaurante y nos alegramos muchísimo de haber venido aquí.
Es un grill y pescadería: eliges el producto y te lo hacen in situ. No puede ser más fresco. Pedimos también una ensalada y patatas fritas. Todo super casero. La señora que nos atendió eligiendo el pescado y la que nos sirvió y cobró fueron encantadoras. Todo a un precio buenísimo y una calidad suprema. Super recomendable.

We came from visiting Mystra and decided to stop for lunch in Sparta. We saw good reviews of this restaurant and were so glad we came here. It's a grill and fishmonger: you choose the product and they make it for you on-site. It couldn't be fresher. We also ordered a salad and fries. Everything was super homemade. The lady who served us, choosing the fish, and the one who served us and took the payment were all lovely. Everything was at a great price and of supreme quality. Highly recommended. We'll remember this place for a long time.

En la pescadería trabaja la hija de los dueños que hablan buen inglés, ella es quien te atiende. Entras, eliges el pescado o marisco que quieres, te acomodan en el bar y allí esperas la comida en un ambiente totalmente local rodeado de simpáticos trabajadores espartanos. Legendary as the city of Sparta itself. A 100% family-run, local, and honest business. On one side is the bar and on the other the fishmonger (both are the same). The fishmonger's daughter, who speaks good English, works at the fishmonger's; she's the one who serves you. You walk in, choose the fish or seafood you want, are seated at the bar, and there you wait for your meal in a completely local atmosphere surrounded by friendly, Spartan-style staff. It's without a doubt the best fish I've eaten in all of Greece: fresh, beautifully cooked, and reasonably priced. Everything is delicious, and the service is sublime.
